We're urging to keep councils from standing down workers

Over the last three weeks, Australian Services Union Western Australian Branch has been communicating with local government CEOs, urging them to not stand workers down over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wayne Wood, Branch Secretary said, "Some of my people don't get paid a lot of money and they are struggling to make ends meet and now they've got to worry about putting food on the table for their families."
