Want to be heard about the FWC's penalty rates cut?
Thursday, 23 February 2017 marked the day the FWC passed a decision to reduce the penalty rates of over a million Australian workers.
From 1 July 2017, hospitality, restaurant, fast food, retail and pharmacy workers will have their Sunday penalty rates cut between 25% and 50%. Public holiday pay was also slashed by up to 25%.
For more information, please read the ACTU press release.
You can take action against this by signing the Megaphone that will send a message to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull that Weekend workers don't deserve a pay cut.
